The Comic Assent: A colorful, empowering new way for young patients to aid research at CHOC
The Comic Assent project, funded entirely by CHOC’s philanthropic community, utilizes the eye-catching comic book format to explain research projects to children ages 7-11 and request their participation. Customizable to any study, the Comic Assent educates children while giving them ownership during the research process.
