What is it?
Helping Hands: Community in Action is a high-energy, high-impact volunteer event that unites dozens of corporations and hundreds of individuals to make a meaningful difference for Rady Children’s patients and their families. Your company’s participation helps provide essential resources and support to those in need.
What will you do?
Volunteers from participating companies will work together on hands-on projects, like assembling activity kits for hospitalized children. This immersive experience allows your team to engage with our mission and see firsthand how corporate partners drive real impact.
Who will it help?
Your participation directly supports children undergoing treatment at Rady Children’s and their families. From lifting spirits through creative activities to providing essential items, each project brings comfort and care to those facing health challenges.
What does it fund?
Funds raised through our Helping Hands event support the patient and family experience at Rady Children’s. The engagement of your employees helps provide patients and their families with age-appropriate support that minimizes anxiety, normalizes the hospital environment, and allows them to grow, play, and heal together.
Be part of a team that makes a difference. Together, we can ease stress for Rady Children’s families and bring hope to young patients when they need it most.
Interested in Partnering?
We care. Because of the community’s groundswell of kindness, our patients know they never walk alone on their medical journeys. That’s powerful.

Why Rady Children’s Health?
We’re here for the kids. They see the world not as it is, but as it could be. They dare to believe it could be something better, and we make that belief our responsibility. We meet them with science, grit, and care that never clocks out. Behind every advance is a team that refused to let go, and behind every chart is a child reaching for more. Our services and programs bring together prevention, specialty care, mental health, and research—so children can heal, grow, and pursue what matters most to them. We are here for every dream they dare to dream.
Our generous donors are the ones investing in these dreams. They fuel the work behind new treatments, expanded access, and better outcomes for children. Your generosity helps turn what’s possible into advanced care for the kids we serve.
