At the CHOC Foundation, our mission to support CHOC’s vision to be a vital force and a leading destination for pediatric healthcare worldwide is made possible by the incredible community of individuals who share our passion and commitment.
Formed in 1964, CHOC has had a reputation for attracting top community leaders in a variety of influential fields to serve on its Board of Directors. The CHOC Foundation board is comprised of leaders and advocates who are actively engaged and invested in generating community awareness and philanthropic support for the health and well-being of children.
We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our board, a group of dedicated leaders and advocates whose diverse backgrounds and expertise are united by a shared goal—to help our hospital continue to be a place of healing, hope, and support for every child who walks through our doors.

This exciting chapter follows the remarkable work of Monica Furman, our past board chair and philanthropist, who led our board with unwavering dedication and vision over the past three years. Under her guidance, our foundation reached new heights in its fundraising, expanded our reach within the community, and forged lasting relationships that have strengthened CHOC’s ability to deliver exceptional care.
With our newest board chair, Christopher Harrison, co-founder and managing partner at Dauntless Capital Partners, at the helm, we are poised to build upon these achievements that will continue to advance our mission.
“The efforts of our board members have a direct impact on the patients and families served at CHOC. Each member brings unique expertise and a deep commitment to our mission, and I am looking forward to all we will achieve together,” says Jessica Miley, senior vice president and chief development officer at the CHOC Foundation.
