Unidos Por CHOC
Join us on June 11, 2027!
The 6th annual Unidos Por CHOC is a fundraiser dedicated to the health and well-being of children in the community and to raising funds for Rady’s Children’s Hospital Orange County’s Population Health Department. We hope you will join us on the journey to help more children and their families thrive.

Population Health
No child or family should go without the care they need. By uniting physicians, health care professionals, schools, nonprofits, and volunteers, the Population Health department at Rady Children’s Health expands access to and equity in pediatric medical care for our communities. From telehealth appointments and mobile medical care to school campus wellness support and education programs, all Population Health resources are made possible only through the power of philanthropy.

Population Health supports:
- Whole-child, whole-family wellness—improving physical and mental health, family relationships, academics, nutrition, transition to adult care, and more.
- Robust primary care and specialty care networks—bringing Rady Children’s world-class treatments to the communities we serve.
- Wellness on Wheels—a program that conducts patient visits from our mobile vehicles to reach neighborhoods and patients who might not otherwise receive medical care.
- The 1-844-GET-CHOC 24/7 nurse advice line—ensures urgent assistance is one phone call away.

Population Health also drives our WellSpaces Initiative, which aims to place an on-campus wellness area—complete with trained personnel and proven resources—in every Orange County school. With dozens of locations to date, WellSpaces are another powerful example of meeting patients where they need us.
Donor support for Population Health goes far beyond gifts—it enables expanded services, successful treatments, and healing moments for Rady Children’s patients.

Why Rady Children’s Health?
Kids see the world not as it is, but as it could be. To them, it’s unfinished, unsolved, waiting. They dare to believe it could be something better. And we make that belief our responsibility. We meet them with science, grit, and care that never clocks out. We challenge what’s been accepted. We question what’s been tried. Because behind every advance is a team that refused to let go. And behind every chart…is a child…reaching for more. So, we’re not here to manage comfort alone. We’re here to build what children fight for and believe in.
