At CHOC, we support a culture of innovation that not only encourages our employees and physicians to dream up life-changing ideas, but also supports their development into fully functional programs.
Founded by the CHOC Foundation and its Board of Directors, One Wish Grants turn these wishes into reality by awarding funding to exceptional projects, ranging from $5,000 to $250,000. Innovator teams go through a rigorous pitch competition, where they present their ideas to a selection committee.

One Wish Grants 2021 Awarded Projects
This year, we awarded $250,000 in innovation support to seven teams who are expanding the ways CHOC delivers care to our patients and families.
Mental Health Video Library
As a 2021 One Wish Grants winner, the CHOC psychology team has developed a series of videos to help kids cope with anxiety and low mood.
Home Manometry Initiative
Through One Wish Grants, the CHOC urology team produced helpful step-by-step video instructions on how to record home bladder pressure and volume measurements.
