Glass Slipper Guild
Originally founded in 1983 as the “Cinderella Guild Juniors,” the Glass Slipper Guild was renamed in 1994 and has been active ever since. While our name has changed over the years, our mission has remained constant through the past 30+ years: to acquaint the community with the mission of CHOC and to support the hospital’s greatest needs. We are a dedicated and passionate group of women living in Orange County, many of us mothers ourselves, working hard to ensure that community awareness, involvement, and fundraising are at record levels.
Glass Slipper Guild has raised more than $7 million to benefit CHOC programs, including the Neuroscience Institute, the Hyundai Cancer Institute, and The Fetal Care Center of Southern California. They are currently fundraising to support a $1 million pledge to the Thompson Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center at CHOC. This innovative, multidisciplinary center is devoted to providing diagnostic evaluations, behavioral consultations, therapy and medical management for children and families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder and other neurodevelopmental challenges.
