CHOC’s Wellness on Wheels (WoW) program relies on philanthropic support to bring resources, education and services directly to the community. Our WoW program is working to remove the barriers that prevent underserved families from accessing high-quality pediatric healthcare.
As one of CHOC’s largest cause marketing partners, Costco Wholesale Corporation’s generosity helps provide critical resources to meet the essential needs of CHOC patients and their families. Their charitable giving is especially meaningful for Dawn, a Costco employee for the last 23 years whose son, Ethan, is a former CHOC heart patient.
One of the many ways that CHOC tirelessly works to meets the sleep needs of underserved children in our community is by providing them with high-quality beds. This effort is made possible by Hope to Dream, the philanthropic arm of Ashley Homestore.
Through a generous $500,000 gift by Andy and Jaime Peykoff of Niagara Bottling, CHOC is able to respond effectively to child abuse and neglect.
Meet Lois, CHOC’s first resident dog and a new badge-carrying staff member of the Cherese Mari Laulhere Child Life Department. Supported solely through philanthropy, she is highly trained to be a vital part of therapeutic treatment for young patients and their families.
Since 2007, Panda Express’ partnership with CHOC has raised more than $2.3 million for the hospital, supported events through catering and volunteers, and provided funds toward PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, Panda Express pledged another $5 million to CHOC.
